General Rules - Section 1

1.1   Players are not to kill each other using any method for reasons that are not related to, or do not fit within the confines of role-play. Doing so will be considered RDM, or Random DeathMatch.

1.2  When you play on the Invictus Gaming server, you are expected to role-play as your currently selected job. Failing to do so will be considered FailRP, or Failure to Role-Play. Killing yourself in role-play situations is also considered FailRP.

1.3  Players are not to interact with players or entities around the area of, or that were related to an event in which you died in for 5 minutes. When dying as a part of a raid or a bank robbery, this time is extended to 10 minutes. Breaking this rule is considered NLR, or New-Life Rule.

1.4   Players are not to use the key to which a fading door is bound to in hostile role-play, or combat situations. Doing so will be considered FDA, or Fading Door Abuse.

1.5   When playing as Civil Protection, you are only to arrest players when they break the laws that are currently in place. Arresting a player for reasons other than the one listed will be considered RDA, or Random Arrest. Civil Protection are not to base anywhere other than the PD.

1.6   The use of props as a weapon or a tool to assist movement is not allowed. This is considered Prop Kill or Prop Surf.

1.7  There is to be no Racism or Homophobia what so ever. This will result in one warning and then a permanent ban.

1.8   If you are incapable of communicating with our English speak staff in a staff situation, even if you call the sit, you will be punished.

1.9   Adverting of any kind is NOT needed, e.g. /ad Raid, /ad Kidnap, /ad Mug, ect.

1.10   Players are not to switch to a dealer to buy a firearm for themselves if there is already one or more gun dealers of the same type online. This is considered Self Supply.

1.11   Exploitation in any form is not to be used for any reasons.

1.12    Attempts to crash the server, as well as cheating or hacking, are serious violations of the rules, and players who attempt these things will be permanently banned.


Raiding Rules - Section 2

2.1  Counter-raiding is not allowed. You must be in a party or live in the same base to defend against it. Though police may counter a raid to arrest the original raiders.

2.2   You must wait 10 minutes to raid a base before performing another. This time is extended to 15 minutes if you wish to attempt a raid on the same base.

2.3  Players are not to spawn props or use tools when they are participating in an active raid. You are also not allowed to remove any props or entities during and active raid.

2.4  In the case that you die in a role-play situation, you are not to switch jobs if the raiding player has control of your class-specific entities. You may switch or leave without punitive action after a period of 5 minutes.

2.5   There is no time-limit to raiding, however, if you successfully eliminate the inhabitants, you may only remain in the base for an additional 3 minutes.

2.6   Bases with a text-screen that states that building is in progress are not to be raided.


Mug Rules - Section 3

3.1  The maximum amount you can mug for is $1,000.

3.2  You must state the amount you are mugging a player for prior to committing the action.

3.3   10 seconds must be provided for the player to give the requested amount of money, unless the player attempts to escape or fight back, in which case you may attempt to kill the target of the mug.


Kidnap Rules - Section 4

4.1   You can only kidnap a single person once per 10 minutes.

4.2  You can only hold a kidnap victim for a maximum of 10 minutes. If you wish to kidnap the same player, the cool-down time for kidnapping is extended to 20 minutes.

4.3  You can advert a ransom for your victim up to a maximum of $5,000.


Building Rules - Section 5

5.1   You cannot build on public property. You may build OVER it, however enough space must be provided for vehicles and players to pass through.

5.2  You must have an entrance(s) to your base which allows players to raid. Main entrance(s) to your base must allow players to pass through without jumping or crouching. You must also have an exit(s) to your base that follow the same rules.

5.3  You are not to have walls or objects that allow you to fire upon your enemy without the risk of you taking fire yourself.

5.4  You can only have a maximum of 6 keypads. Keypads must have a minimum hold length of 5 seconds, and a maximum hold length of 10 seconds. Settings other than hold length must have a '0' value.

5.5  There must be an obvious entrance and exit to the base, making the base completely accessible with the use of keypads or buttons.

5.6   The spawning of props and use of tools is not allowed in spawn.

5.7   You are not to obstruct NPC's for any reason.

5.8  A sign that says 'KOS', or Kill On Sight may be placed on the exterior of the building in clear view to designate an area in which your killing of others is justified. The designated area must be part of your property. You may also use this sign to designate rules that are applied when on, or in the vicinity* of your property, which when violated, allow you to kill the offending player.
  *The only rules you can designate in a 'KOS' sign regarding those not in, but in the vicinity of your base, is a loitering sign with a minimum of 10 seconds allotted, and a rule stating that your props/entities are not to be interacted with.

5.9  If someone is trespassing on your property, you may then kill the player. if you have a KOS sign up. If you do not have a KOS sign up, you must '/ad warn' them before killing them, you must state in the '/ad warn' that the intruder must get off your property.

5.10.  A text-screen that states you are building may be placed on the exterior of your base in clear view can be used to prevent raids. This sign, however, is only valid for a maximum of 30 minutes. If a 'KOS' sign is placed, the building sign is rendered invalid. The sign is also rendered invalid if there are entities in your base.

5.11  You must have an active building sign to justify obstructing entrances or entities. Otherwise, it will be considered Prop Block.

5.12  If a staff member has a building sign up, they may use their no-clip power to build their base.


If a staff member finds unfitting behaviour he will moderate it accordingly. Therefore you may be punished for something that isn't directly stated in these rules, if you believe that you have been falsely warn or punished you can report it on the forums or to a higher member of staff on Teamspeak.
